Abstract :
In pulse shaping circuits, a transmission line having characteristics of higher impedance, fast transition, low insertion loss is needed. Elevated Coplanar Waveguide (ECPW) has been identified as the transmission line to achieve such characteristics. An equivalent circuit model for ECPW based on the S-Parameter approach is proposed and the RF performance is obtained. The proposed model reveals that the return loss of ECPW is less compared to CPW geometries.
