  • Abstract
    This paper summarizes the main principles of a new, MATLAB-based Measurement and Control Tuning Toolbox (MCTB) which contains several facilities for controlling the most common data acquisition boards, control device calibrations, PID and feedforward control tuning and design of appropriate filters for measurement signal filtering. Some experiences are also described with the special emphasis on intelligent features that give the user information about the proceedings of the tuning work. The usefulness of the software always depends on the flexibility and simplicity of the user interface; we emphasize this importance
