Abstract :
A nonlinear feedback control technique is proposed for the control of both minimum and nonminimum plant. A Lyapunov function is derived to ensure the stability of this control function and a stable region of parameters has been established. A guide line to enhance the control effect by increasing the feedback gain is given. The advantage of this technique is computationally simple and the exact knowledge of its plant dynamics is not required. In this paper, the background of the mathematical derivations of the control law is outlined. Its effectiveness is justified by simulation runs and the subsequent application to control a practical system
