Abstract :
In this paper a simple and efficient numerical procedure for treating problems of radar cross section (RCS) prediction of arbitrarily shaped Perfect Electric Conductor (PEC) objects is developed using Micro-ElectroMechanicalSystems(MEMS). Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) devices perform a radar measurement using impulse response of the SAW transponder via a high frequency electromagnetic radio link. By analyzing the time delay between the backscattered pulses with different time delays the RCS can be estimated from the SAW transponder. It is found from the simulation that the complexity of prediction can be reduced using proposed algorithm.
