Abstract
With the example of the aluminum alloy complex extrusion, simulating the symmetrical curved process of complicated cross-section extrusion is successfully realized in the paper. The distribution of stress and strain and the variation of cross-section shape are analyzed in the roll bending process, and the dangerous spots are effectively determined in the forming. The simulation results indicated: the longitudinal stress expands gradually from the middle to the both sides. The stress of the web and the inner flange is maximal. Both parts are the dangerous spots which easily bring tensile failure, wrinkling, cross-section distortion.
