Abstract
This paper is concerned with the designing H∞ output feedback controller for linear time-invariant systems. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of an H∞ output feedback controller are given in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities(LMIs). Furthermore, the design of H∞ optimal controller is obtained by solving a convex optimization problem. A numerical example illustrates the validity of the proposed approach.
