Abstract
This paper presents the recoverability walkthrough, an inspection method derived from the well-known cognitive walkthrough and discusses its suitability for evaluating early prototypes for digital inclusion interfaces. Because people with low digital literacy tend to explore the interface before they can make sense of what they are doing, the recoverability walkthrough explores the opportunities of getting lost and finding the way throughout the interaction. We present the results of an application session in which we evaluated prototypes of two governmental services.
