Abstract :
The paper describes millimetre wave band (38.5GHz and 77GHz) square microstrip patch antennas for harmonic transponders. These conformal, miniaturized and high gain antennas with symmetrical broadside patterns would allow the development of transponders with the fewest adverse effects on insects behaviours, as well as offering easy fixation and relatively high gain.
