Abstract :
This paper presents the modeling and simulation of an axial field, single-pole, single-phase switched reluctance motor. The analysis starts with a 3D FEM-based simulation, which has as main purpose the determination of magnetization and torque characteristics. Then, the obtained data are implemented in the mathematical model built in the Matlab/Simulink environment in order to simulate the dynamic regimes of the motor.
