Abstract
Evaporation-desalination and incineration method was developed to treat high concentration organic liquid wastes with alkali and alkaline metals. Evaporation-desalination was used to prevent alkali and alkaline metals from entering the incinerator with the steam, which could decrease demand of assistant fuel and keep incineration system operating continuously. Through experimental research, it came to conclusions that schlepping efficiency of Na+, K+ in NaCl, Na2SO4 and K2CO3 is lower than 0.99%, organic compounds have high volatilization efficiency when the simulated wastewater contain neutral alkali-metal salts, such as NaCl, Na2SO4 and KCl. Organic steam was incinerated in a circulating fluidized bed incinerator. When the bed temperature was increased from 700degC to 900degC, combustion efficiency was increased from 89.4% to 99.8%.
