Abstract :
This paper presents a discussion on the time-domain characteristics of an electromagnetic lens designed to be used in a Half Impulse Radiating Antenna (HIRA). Simulation results showing the effectiveness of the lens in producing a spherical wave front and the amplification factor are presented.
