Abstract
A circular-polarized cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna excited by dual conformal strips is studied experimentally. The dual conformal strips were cut from a conducting adhesive tape, and excited in phase quadrature. Two degenerate DRA TM/sub 110/ modes in phase quadrature are presented. The configuration offers a wide axial ratio bandwidth of 20%.
