Abstract :
This paper aims to describe the computational procedures to simulate car movements in a subway system connected to an AC supply network through a number of rectifiers. An iterative algorithm is proposed to analyze the AC busbar performances when under load variations, which can be caused by train speed changes (acceleration, deceleration, and stopover) and headway time between trains
