Abstract :
The aim of project BERKOM (Berlin Communication System) is to initiate and promote the development of telecommunications services and end systems for the optical-fiber broadband networks (broadband ISDN). Demonstration projects planned in several fields of application and a reference model for integrated services being developed are described. A test network with ISDN-B laboratory switches is being established in West Berlin
