  • Abstract
A novel method of studying wave penetration through inhomogeneous walls using FDTD and ray tracing is presented in this paper. Numerical results of the method have been compared and shown to agree very well with those of measurement and those of full wave analysis. In light of our observations, we conclude that the method makes it possible to study the effect of inhomogeneities inside walls more accurately without adding much to computational complexity.
