Abstract :
The authors report on impulsive noise measurements and the statistical models derived from them. The results are compared with the theoretical models. Simulation results demonstrate the effect of impulsive noise on the West German U-interface. The part played by impulsive noise in the specification of the transmit signal from U-interfaces is briefly discussed
