Abstract :
CT diagnosis has been widely used in medical tests. This article introduced the wavelet packet progressing on digital images first and then the Roberts, Prewitt, Sobel, LOG and Canny which belong to edge detection algorithms. Their merits and demerits are expounded by the edge detection algorithms of lung CT image on operators through MATLAB and comparison of both the difference between the detection on whether the images decomposed by wavelet packet or not and the difference of the detection which different algorithms are used.
