Abstract :
Terahertz spectroscopic imaging through paint layers as a method of nondestructive inspection has been studied in a wide frequency range from 0.1 to 100 THz. As paint layers actual use multilayer coatings were examined. This method has also been demonstrated for the imaging of an invisible rusty area covered with multiple paint layers on a steel using a specified frequency of THz range.
