Abstract :
The purpose of the present paper is solving the next fundamental problems related to the control of the wind systems: (1) establishing the generator optimal speed for maximum power extraction; (2) establishing the generator load, based on the measured wind speeds and the variation of rotating masses kinetic energies; (3) delivering constant power to the grid, for long interval of time, using storing devices for overtaking the power fluctuations.
