Abstract :
In practice, the speed is not a constant value for the same volume, but moves randomly within a limited range. According to the study of classical speed-flow models, it is found that applying the traditional linear model to describe the relationship between speed and volume is not convictive enough, and it usually obtains invalid results. To tackle this problem, a new speed-flow probability model is proposed on the base of traditional speed-flow model, boundary model and speed distribution model. The model proposed in the paper can not only reflect the trends of speed versus volume, but can also describe the distribution of speed under the specific volume. This model provided a new method for the full and accurate description of the relationship between speed and volume.
