  • Abstract
    A high-power gyrotron is developed for use in the collective Thomson scattering diagnostic of fusion plasma. It operates at fundamental harmonic with a frequency of 295 GHz. An electron gun with an intense laminar electron beam is designed, and the oscillation power of more than 200 kW is expected.
