Abstract :
Under the engineering background of conveyor belt prone to be torn in coal production, an intelligent Detection system for mine belt tearing based on machine vision is designed. This paper first describes the overall composition of the system, and then introduces the methods of belt image preprocessing, image segmentation and feature extraction which are used in the detection system. And experiments are given to verify the feasibility of the system.
