Software re-use benefits ATE users and ATE vendors

This paper provides a real example of how software re-use by ATE vendors benefit both the ATE vendor and the ATE Users. Software re-use provides the ATE Vendor a reduction in time-to-market, lower development cost, and higher quality over re-inventing software tools and environments. The ATE user benefits from the software re-use through Test Program Set transportability to next generation hardware, higher-software quality and lower training costs.
