Abstract :
Mostly interference power between neighboring antennas operating in nearby frequency ranges comes into the victim receiver by antenna coupling, therefore, establishing a proper antenna coupling model is crucial for radar electromagnetic compatibility prediction. This paper proposes a new antenna coupling model-four level key antenna model, which can simulate far field antenna pattern without detailed data of antenna except the maximum gain and the 3 dB beamwidth, and its performance was validated by simulation. Calculation results indicate that the mutual coupling gain can be used to compute antenna mutual coupling power, and the mutual coupling probability can be used to estimate the veracity of electromagnetic compatibility prediction.
