Abstract :
The atmospheric electric field is an important parameter during the whole thunder process, so the electric field monitoring is an effective method for local lightning forecast in key lightning protection region. The electric field monitoring data can validate the accuracy of weather forecast in a local region for meteorological department, or validate the dependability of lightning protection measures. The trends of electric field variation are also helpful to realize weather change besides lightning in rainy season.
