Abstract :
In this paper the UHF method is used to detect Partial Discharge in GIS. Monitoring systems made of different types of sensors are studied to find out the proper sensor and monitoring system for laboratory study or on-site operation. Some basic experiments are carried out under conditions of different pressure and voltage. And some useful rules are concluded from these experiments
