Abstract :
We describe the supply chain management domain of SAP. We further describe how the SAP APO, the advanced planner and optimization tool set fits in the overall domain of SCM. The founding principles of APO are also presented. Various algorithms used as part of planning and optimization is presented, as well as their relationships with simulation techniques.
