Abstract
Maintenance planning, because of its high effects on manufacturing performance such as production quality, failure cost, is one of the most important decision problems. Allowing for the imprecision judgments of decision makers, this paper employs triangular fuzzy number to express the ambiguity and uncertainty, adopt relative membership grade (RMG) method to solve the multiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problem existing in maintenance selection. Comparing it with TOPSIS, illustrate the feasibility and superiority of RMG.
