Abstract :
The performance analysis of a solar power plant is very important from the point of view of technology and economy. The PV systems incorporate power conditioning units, which are harmonic generating devices. Thus have an influence on the quality of supply, reliable operation of system equipments and life of the system components. The harmonics generated at the output of the solar power plant depends on the input to the power conditioning unit, which further depends upon the PV system operating conditions like module operating temperature, solar insolation, shading and dusting on the module. This paper presents the performance of a 100KW solar system over a period of time. The performance ratio of the system is evaluated and analyzed.
