Abstract :
This paper presents a fast analysis of the electromagnetic interference (EMI) problem associated with a microstrip amplifier. This study is mainly based on the recently developed fast model which fully makes use of the commercial circuit solver. By using this fast model, the electric field radiated from an RF microstrip amplifier on the printed circuit board (PCB) is efficiently characterized. In this study, simulated and measured results are presented and good agreement between them is observed.
