Abstract
A comprehensive comparative analysis of a resonant switching interleaved boost topology and a resonant switching single switch boost topology used for photovoltaic system is presented in this paper. The operational aspect of an interleaved topology has been studied and is compared with the single switch topology. Interleaved topology is found to be superior to single switch topology. Efficiency of the system is improved with minimum switching loss. Both the topologies are modeled and simulated using MATLAB-SIMULINK.
