  • Abstract
A variable optical signal delay is desirable for TDM optical networks and optical beamforming in phased-array antennas. A MEMS device with 2-bit variable delay for optical signals is proposed. The design of a device to introduce this controllable delay will have to use moveable mirrors that physically change the path of the optical signal
