Abstract :
A transceiver controller IC has been developed for the improvement of the home bus system (HBS). The functions of the new IC cover the logical conditions of the physical layer of the OSI (open systems interconnection) reference model. Therefore, even a low cost, single chip microcomputer can easily control both home electronic products and the communication of HBS simultaneously by using the IC.<>
