Abstract :
In this paper, the optical network control mechanism is studied and explored based on optical network experimental platform, including the routing policy of single wavelength, light path reconfiguration in link blocking or failure condition and wavelength resource scheduling strategy. What´s more, a visual control module for optical network experimental platform is designed based on ARM controller. A graphical control interface (GCI) is shown on a touch screen integrated in the ARM development board which can be used to display or control optical switches.
