Abstract :
We investigate the asymptotic property of the maximum-likelihood (IML) criterion for multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. This letter proves that the ML criterion not only obtains overall optimal BER performance, but also asymptotically attains minimum BER performance for each user in multiuser MIMO systems.
