Abstract :
In this paper the mathematics model of IPM motor accounting for magnetic saturation and the effectiveness of magnetic saturation and cross-saturation on the IPM motor output characteristics and control characteristics are investigated over the entire operation range including constant torque range region and constant power region. Then a compensation control algorithm had been proposed based on above analysis. Finally the IPM motor speed control system applied the novel control method is established based on TMS320F2812 DSP chip, and the motor speed-torque output characteristics were analyzed. The experimental results verify that it can effectively improve the performance of the motor control system by using the control method proposed in this paper.
