Abstract :
The report offers an account of actual principles of operation of the microwave vector network analyzers. A new approach to increasing analyzer dynamic range based on probe signals magnitude detecting is presented taking into consideration feed mismatching. A new effective approach to microwave network parameters measurement is proposed, which combines the methods of magnitude and homodyne detecting.
