Abstract :
A new broadband electric-field probe, capable of accurately characterizing and measuring electromagnetic fields, has been developed. The probe´s 50-mm resistively tapered dipole elements allow measurement of both near and far zone electric fields between < 4 V/m and 330 V/m from 10 kHz to 1 GHz. A mutually orthogonal dipole configuration provides an isotropic response with an overall deviation of +/- 0.5 dB. Both the theoretical and developmental aspects of this electric-field probe are discussed
