Abstract
The authors study the quantization noise of oversampled low resolution uniform analog to digital converters (ADCs). For ease of analysis, the quantization noise of ADCs is often assumed to be white. This assumption does not hold well for low resolution ADCs, especially oversampled ADCs. A model of the power spectrum of the output of an infinitely oversampled uniform ADC is presented. Simulation results are compared to the theoretical model
