Abstract :
An accurate method by using main clock and vernier clock is introduced to measure time interval. Vernier clock is used to count the time interval. The corresponding count results are sampled by the main clock. The relationship between the sum of sampling sequence and time interval is investigated. By utilizing the sampling sequence, we can calculate the precise time difference easily. The implementation steps are listed and the resolution is analyzed.
