Abstract :
We present an LMI-based fixed-order controller design. We consider the robust stabilization problems for normalized coprime perturbation with the frequency weighting. We show that this problem can be converted to a one-block problem with coprime factorization representation and it can be solved with LMI optimization. This design method has the advantage that it can be extended to simultaneous control design for multiple plants. A design example is shown to demonstrate the design method
