Abstract
This paper presents a non-integer sampling method for sub-band coding that exploits the advantages of modifying the centre frequency of the sub-bands according to the dynamic movement of the vocal tract. The above method uses fixed or variable bandwidths, and is based on a new linear phase bandpass filter with a variable cut-off frequency
