Abstract
A combined error-correcting code and modulation scheme built with Golay code and M-PSK modulations is considered over radio channels with Gaussian noise and independent Rayleigh fading. A modified generalized minimum distance decoding is proposed to exploit the channel state information. The residual bit error rate after decoding is evaluated versus signal to noise ratio and lastly, the complexity of the decoder is examined
