Abstract :
This paper presents how to simulate the phenomenon of Karman Vortex Street when fluid passes the meter by Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). With the parameters measured from the bluff body and detector sensor, the relationship of the lift force acted on different parts of the sensor is clearly shown. The CFD simulation results validate the characteristics of vortex output signal on the detector.
