Abstract :
For mobile OFDM receiver, both Doppler spread and residual Carrier Frequency Offset (CFO) can cause inter-carrier interference (ICI) therefore performance degradation. In this paper, both the effects of Doppler spread and residual CFO (RCFO) are jointly considered to improve the receiver performance. A low complexity channel estimation is proposed to allow ICI cancellation at the receiver. We demonstrate through simulation that the receiver can achieve desirable performance even in fast fading with the presence of high residual CFO.
