Abstract
The dc and ac electrical behavior of ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR) cable models, aged under different thermal and electrothermal stresses, is investigated as a function of aging time. Remarkable changes of dc conductivity and low-frequency dielectric losses with aging conditions are pointed out. A transition in the electrical behavior of the insulation can be envisaged above 120°C
