Abstract
This paper considers the delay-dependent asymptotic stability problem for a class of neutral delay differential equations. By using a novel Lyapunov functional with the decompositions of neutral type and discrete type delay intervals, the new delay-dependent asymptotic stability criterion is obtained in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). Finally, we present a numerical example to show the effectiveness and value of our proposed results.
