Abstract :
This paper applies the theory of stochastic processes to quantitatively study the dynamical behavior of mass mind under the influence of "group pressure" quantified by a submissive parameter. A finite state irreducible Markov chain whose transition probability matrix depends on the submissive parameter is introduced to describe the composition and evolution of mass attitudes. The microstructure non-stationarity and the macrostructure stationarity of mass attitude are stated; the influence of submissive parameter are analyzed by numerical experiments.
