Abstract :
An adaptive frequency-time (F/T) two-dimensional(2D) wireless resource allocation algorithm in multiuser multimedia OFDM system is proposed to maximize the system throughput under users´ QoS constraint model in a multiuser and multirate traffic environment. The allocation algorithm is done per OFDM frame, allocating each frequency-time grid to different users according to both channel state information (CSI) and users´ QoS constraints. The performance of the adaptive frequency-time 2D wireless resource allocation algorithm is obtained in a multiuser frequency selective fading environment. The results show that the system using the proposed algorithm has significant lower outage probability and higher capacity which is very near the upper bound (simply the Max C/I allocation).
