Abstract :
The Telecommunication Industry Association (TIA) has released Bulletin TSB 10-F to replace its previous Bulletin TSB 10-E. A methodology for computing interferences from personal communication system (PCS) operations into fixed microwave systems is included in this new Bulletin TSB 10-F. This is the first time that PCS interferences are addressed in a TIA document. In this paper, using the technique adopted by the TIA in Bulletin TSB 10-F, the interference objectives of a 300-channel and 600-channel FDM-FM microwave receivers are computed. It is assumed that those receivers are subject to interferences from PCS operations that employ narrow-band and broad-band signals
